We were trying something a little new on the BBC news website a few weeks back.

The idea – called ‘Slides’ – was to try and tell a story horizontally in words, pictures and video.

Intended for mobile devices and aimed at a younger audience, I thought a quick jaunt with of one of the UK’s only (I think there are two) women comic shop owners might work well.

The short film was shot on a Fuji X-Pro, which is great for images but less so for sound!
